The Babe Machine part 11


Shadow woke up with a yawn the next morning and started to sit up, he winced, something was wrong, his diaper was still wet but now there was a burning feeling ~

Shadow- o-ow. ???

~He moved over to the bars to stand up but the burning simply grew worse~

Shadow- Ouch!..A-Amy!

Amy- Hang on shadow, one moment

~ was her reply from another room, shadow gave a slight whimper as he slowly sat back down, he tried to wait but the burning just kept getting worse and worse till he finally couldn't help it  and started crying while kicking his legs ~

Amy- *runs in* Goodness! I was just.. Shadow whats wrong?!

~Amy ran over to the crib and picked up the crying little hedgehog~

Shadow-* Still crying* I-I don't know! I-it burns!

~Amy looked confused for a moment before she quickly went and laid him on the changing table, she got him out of his pj's and checked his diaper ~

Amy- oh my gosh! you're diaper is nearly soaked Shadow!

~This statement only made shadow start to cry harder, Amy  tried to calm him as she opened the diaper up, she could tell despite his black fur that he had a bad diaper rash~

Amy- Oy..Poor baby, hang on okay? I need to clean you up...

~Shadow had hoped that maybe the baby wipe would easy the burn but the moment it touched the reach it maybe it even worse, Shadow was sobbing by the time Amy had cleaned him up~

Amy- almost done, shh..It's okay, hang on this should help..

~She grabbed a small jar and started rubbing a white cream over the rash, shadow sniffled and sobbed but the cream actually helped and started to cool the burning diaper rash, Amy sooned added a bit of baby powered and taped him up into a diaper that was thicker then normal, she picked him up and rocked him~

Amy- There we go..all down, it's okay now Shh..

~Shadow rubbed the tears from his eyes and tried to get his crying under control~

Shadow-  w-whats wrong w-with me??

Amy- it's just a diaper rash sweety ^^"

Shadow- A-a-a diaper Rash?!

Amy- Yes..There caused by staying in a wet or messy diaper too long, did you go last night??

shadow-*simply nods a bit* I-I didn't wanna wake you up...

Amy-Aaww..That's really sweet Shadow but  it's okay ^^ I want you to wake me up next time okay??

~ Shadow nodded again and hugged her slightly~

Amy- ^^ Okay..now lets get you something to eat..how about it? ^^

Shadow- o-okay ^^

~ Amy carried him into the living room and sat him on the couch~

Amy- you've had a rough start to the day...So I want you to just rest here while I get your breakfast okay??

Shadow- Okay

~Amy walked off after turning the TV onto a little kid show...shadow sat watching it, he  was sucking his thumb when Amy came back with a bottle and a small bowl of oatmeal~

Amy- * sits down and moves him to her lap* Alrighty Shadow, time for some nummys ^^

Shadow-Nummys..*rolls eyes as blue bib is tied around his neck*

Amy- Sorry,sorry, it's just so hard to not use baby talk about you, you're just so cute!

~ Shadow just sits there and pouts cutely trying not to blush or smile at her x3 ~

Amy- okay now, open up big boy ^^

~Shadow does so and willingly eat as she feeds him, after the oatmeal is all gone she lets him continue watching TV as he sucks on his bottle and goes to get her own breakfast.

about when shadow was halfway down with his bottle there was a knock at the door~

Amy-* Walks over* Coming ^^ *Opens the door* Hello? ^^

~There at the Door was Silver ~

silver- Hey there Amy

Amy- silver! hi! what brings you here???? come in, come in ^^

Silver-* Walks in* Thanks, and to tell the truth I'm here for Shadow

~Shadow stood up and looked over the back of the couch at Silver~

Amy- ?? Oh? what for???

Silver-*rubs back of head* Well...you and Sonic have been with him nearly all the time and "uncle" Silver wants a turn x3 I thought I could take him to a park or something

Amy-*Smiles* Oh that sounds great! ^^ doesn't it shadow?

~ Amy said while looking over at the pair of red eyes still peeking over the back of the couch, Shadow simply sunk back down and went back to watching his show ~

Shadow- No thanks *Sucks on bottle*

Amy- =_= Shadow..*turns back to Silver* He'd love to go ^^ I'll get him ready

Silver- Alright ^^

~Amy walked over and picked Shadow up~

Shadow- hey! no! Amy I don't wanna go to a park!

Amy- Shadow have you EVER been to a park?

~shadow tought a moment as he was carried back to Amy's room~

Shadow- Um....no..

Amy- Then your going x3 don't worry, you'll have fun ^^

Shadow-*now being dressed* No I won't ><" I don't have fun

~Amy just chuckled and dressed him in a little blue yellow T-shirt and overalls  and some little shoes before taking him back out to Silver~

Amy- Alright, now you two have fun ^^ please have him home before lunch Silver and Oh! yes he has a bit of a diaper rash so his bum might be tender ^^

~Shadow's face turned beet red~

Shadow- a-Amy!

silver- Alright, will do Amy ^^ bye ^^

~silver started to walk off~

Shadow- Wait! .aren't you coming with us?????

Amy- not this time sweety sorry ^^" but don't worry, I'll be here when you get back ^^ Bye ^^

Shadow- okay...

~Shadow watched Amy's house as he was carried away, he gave her a small wave when she waved at him before shutting the door~

Shadow-.....

Silver- Hey, come on Shadow, everything will be fine x3 em and you are going to have some fun

Shadow- *turns to see where there going and crosses his arms* I highly doubt that...

~Silver sighed and kept walking, they finally reached the park a few blocks away, Shadow looked around and saw all the kids playing on the equipment..it DID look kinda fun...but he was to small to use most of it. Silver sat him in the sand~

Silver- alright, What do you wanna do first? ^^ Play in the sand? ride the little bouncy ride? go on the slides or use the swings??

Shadow- I..I don't want to do anything

~He said while looking at the nearest bouncy ride~

Silver- Okay then...

~Silver said as he scooped him up and placed him on the ride, which was in the shape of a horse~

Shadow- Whoa!..Hey!..i..um....

silver- now, you just hold onto the little handles tight okay? And don't let go..

~Shadow gave a light nod as Silver leaned the ride back then let it go, Shadow's eyes widened as he started to jerk and rock back and forth, he held onto the handled slightly scared yet enjoying himself at the same time, after a few moments it stopped~

Silver-*Smiling* well?

Shadow- T-that...was...okay...um...Can I go again?

Silver- *Chuckles* sure ^^ Hang on!

~Shadow spent nearly 15 minutes just rocking and bouncing around after awhile he started to giggle and laugh~

Silver- Okay now, that's enough bouncing *Picks shadow up off it*

Shadow- Aaww!

Silver- Come on, lets go try the slide

~Silver Carried him over and climbed the steps, he sat at the top and placed Shadow in his lap~

Shadow- ?????

Silver- Here we go ^^

~Shadow clutched some og Silvers fur as they suddenly went sliding down, he had never been on a slide before...though it did remind him of rail grinding, it was surprisingly fun! ~

Shadow- Again!

~Shadow said once they were on the ground~

Silver- Okay,okay x3

~Shadow went down with Silver four more times~

Silver-*Gets to the top...then puts Shadow down* I think your ready to go by yourself this time ^^

Shadow- * gives a slightly gulp then frowns* Of course I am!

Silver- *moves to he bottom of the slide* now...don't be scared and just scoot foreword, I'll catch you

~Shadow sat there a moment, holding onto the little rail, sure it had been fun sliding down with Silver but this was different~

Shadow-.....

Silver-..shadow?..you okay???

Shadow- Y-yeah! just.give me a m-moment...

Silver- *Grins* Okay, whenever your ready...

~Shadow waited a few more moments before finally scooting forward and sliding down, just like he said Silver caught him and tossed him into the air before catching him again~

silver- You did it! ^^ Good job Shadow ^^

~Shadow just smiled and giggled ~

Shadow- Um.silver?

Silver- Yeah?

Shadow- I'm thirsty

Silver- Okay ^^

~Silver went to a bench and put him down, he suddenly pulled a bottle of juice out of no where and let Shadow sit in the sand while he drank~

Shadow- Thank you! ^^ *sucks*

Silver- No problem ^^

~Silver waited while Shadow drank and watched him as he kind of kicked at the sand or dug a little hole with one hand~

Silver- So...was this so bad? are you having a good time?

~Shadow just nodded still sucking on the bottle~

silver- Good, good ^^

~ another moment passed, shadows eyes suddenly went wide and he spit out the juice~

Shadow- TIME!!

Silver-!?!?!? *jumps to his feet* What?!?!

Shadow- *whips around* you can make me normal!!!!!!!!!!

Silver- I can?????

Shadow-* crawls over to him* Yes!! Used your Chronos control!

Silver- Shadow...I've only ever used my Chronos control to travel through time...I don't think I can change someones age ^^""""

Shadow- You gotta try!

Silver- Shadow I don't think..

~Shadow started to tear up~

Shadow- P-please Silver!! i-I don't wanna be a baby any-anymore!

Silver- Oi vay..um shadow ...

~Silver started to panic when shadow burst into tears~

Silver- Oioioioioioi!! okay okay! *picks him up and tries rocking him* I'll try! just please stop crying!!

Shadow-*sniffle hic* r-really???

Silver- *sigh*Yeah..really

Shadow- T-thank you!! Try it now!

Silver- Shadow Maybe we should wait till we go back to

~Shadow started to tear up again~

silver- Okay okay we'll try it now!

~Shadow clapped as he was set down, Silver pulled his yellow Chaos emerald out ~

silver- *Groans*...Amy's going to kill me....okay..Stay still...CHRONOS..CONTROL!

~The park flooded with light ~
