The Babe Machine 16

~ The shadowy figure stood in the dark, watching Sonic's house not moving till it was sure everyone was asleep. it pulled a device out of the cloak it wore and spoke with a robotic voice.~
???- The target is asleep and at sonic's house..shall I move in?
~ The Voice replying was that of the G.U.N. commander ~
Commander- No. We will be ready soon, till we are keep watch, Good work Zata.
~The gizoid gave no reply simply turning the com-link off and returning it's gaze to the house,  It had been destroyed once before and had been rebuilt from the ground up. It's memories we're still intact however and it would make sure it would not fail again.
Sonic had stayed up to watch some tv, He didn't have as much time to himself as he used to, part of him missed just taking off. perhaps it WAS a good thing Shadow was going to be returned to normal once Tails  returned home, maybe he wasn't fully ready to be a father yet, he yawned and decided to head to bed around eleven, checking on shadow before he fell asleep himself.  He slept soundly till he heard something. ~
Sonic- *Blinks and yawns* Huh?
~Over in the door way stood a sniffling shadow, sonic rubbed his eyes and swung his legs over the side of the bed sitting up~
Sonic- Hey there little faker, what's up? Why are you out of bed??
~Shadow sniffled and shifted  as his face turned red ~
Shadow- I-I..I had an accident....
Sonic- What? Oh, Oh!
~ Sonic stood up and flicked on the lights, the young hedgehog's pajamas were indeed wet, Shadow looked utterly embarrassed, but didn't know what to do, Sonic went over and picked him up carefully as tears started to roll down his cheeks.~
Sonic- Hey it's okay Shadow, Lets just go get you cleaned up and back to bed okay?
~Shadow gave a tired nod as Sonic carried him to the bathroom and proceeded to get him washed up, he took him back to his room and sat him on the bed after getting Him a fresh pair of pj's~
Sonic- *Tucking him in* Okay, you just rest here in my bed while I go finish up okay?
~Shadow gave another nod as he started to yawn, sonic turned the lights off as he left and walked down the hall, once in Shadow's small room he took the soiled bedding and put in the washing machine, he flipped the mattress over and put a new bedspread on it, he yawned now waiting for the washer to get done.~
Sonic- Poor kid, Ah well, Just need to make sure he goes to the bathroom before bed I guess, don't want to embarrassed him so I think I'll just keep this to myself for now, no need for Amy  to know.
~Once the bedding was in the dryer he went back to his room, he couldn't help but grin at the sight of shadow all curled up on one side hugging the blanket ~
Sonic- Heh..cute.......man it's good he's asleep or he'd try to kill me I think. *Yawn* okay kid move over.
~ Sonic  carefully moved Shadow over a bit so the blue hedgehog would have enough room to lay in his own bed, he yawned again before finally falling back asleep.
It was around seven that Shadow started to wake up, he yawned and shifted, his bed seemed bigger and there was something big and warm next to him, he yawned again before his eyes snapped open, he quickly checked to make sure he hadn't somehow  become younger again and gave a sigh of relief when he saw he was only sleeping next to sonic ...Wait what?!~
Shadow- AH!
~Sonic quickly sat up as Shadow yelled and scrambled away from him~
Sonic- Ah! what?! what's wrong?!
Shadow- What in the world are you doing?!
Sonic- What are you talking about?!
Shadow- You're in my bed!
Sonic- What? No I'm not you little geek! don't you remember last night?!? you wet the bed so I let you sleep in mine!
~Shadow blinked suddenly remembering ~
Shadow- Oh..right..
Sonic- Geez! *Flops back down* Gosh I wish your brain would just pick already...
Shadow- What's that supposed to mean?!
Sonic- You may not have been noticing but you keep switching between your old self and being a kid, I mean one moment you're calling me and Amy 'mommy' and 'Daddy' the next you're screaming.
Shadow- Humph *Crosses arms, we'll you're Not my dad.
Sonic- ah but you're fine with Amy as your mom huh?
~Shadow gulped a little and sonic smirked ~
Sonic- Ahah. You ARE fine with her being your mom!
Shadow- M-maybe! Least she's nice to me!
Sonic- Hey! I'm nice to you too Lil Faker.
Shadow Nu-uh! and don't call me that! ><"
Sonic- I am so and why not lil faker? XP
Shadow- Because..Because...BECAUSE YOUR THE FAKE HEDGEHOG! ><"
Sonic- Oh you've asked for it now
Shadow- what are you- ah no let me go!
~ Shadow squirmed as Sonic grabbed and pulled him over tickling the small hedgehog all over, Shadow tried to brake free and fight back but it was no use he giggled and squealed laughing his head off before sonic pinned him on his back with one arm, Shadow flailed around but was trapped~
Sonic- See? Dad always wins in the end XP
Shadow- Humph! *crosses arms* You're not my dad and you cheated!
Sonic-Maybe XP You can complain to Amy later, come on, how about a truce till after breakfast, deal?
Shadow-*sighs* Deal.
sonic- Great! *lets him up* now come on, lets go get ready for the day.
~Shadow scrambled off the bed and followed sonic to the bathroom, Sonic helped him out of his pj's gave gave him some time alone to use his new training potty while he went to pick shadow's outfit out for the day. Wen Shadow was done he went to his room ~
Sonic- All done?
Shadow- No, I'm just looking for some reading material...
~Sonic crossed his arms, he knew Shadow would most likely be a bit snarky no matter what his age was but that didn't mean he had to always stand for it, the look he was now giving shadow made him shift a little and put a hand over his backside protectively~
Shadow- i-I mean yes
Sonic- Much better, no come on and lets get you dressed.
~Shadow sighed and went over to Sonic, Sonic bent down and helped him into a pair of socks , gloves and then a pair of shoes ~
Sonic- There.
Shadow-? This is it? No stupid little outfit??
Sonic- nope, unless you'd LIKE to wear something more.
Shadow- no,no, this is fine.
Sonic- Heh thought you'd say that, come on lets get something to eat now.
~Shadow now followed sonic to the kitchen, to tell the truth it almost felt a bit odd to him not wearing anything but his shoes and gloves, it was feeling like he had been this way forever but it was nice to just feel his fur again. Sonic helped him into a booster seat at the table where he could watch Sonic cook, a fearful experience I assure you. It seemed to Shadow that the only meal he was capable of preparing was chili dogs, so you can imagine his delight when the blue hedgehog pulled out a box of cereal and two bowls before placing them on the table along with milk and spoons. ~
Sonic- Hope you like stuff made from pure sugar
Shadow- Sounds...great?
~Sonic poured the bowls and slide one over to Shadow, he stared at the brown orbs that we're  now dyeing the milk from white to the same shade of brown, he looked over at Sonic who was chowing down, he glanced back at his own bowl and shrugged reminding himself it must be better then baby food, he grabbed his spoon and scooped some up and into his mouth, he blinked~
Shadow- Hey! This tastes like chocolate!
Sonic- Yep
~Sonic said while scanning the back of the cereal box, he grinned when he saw Shadow was now cowing down himself~
Sonic- Heh, there he goes into kid mode again.
~He shook his head and continued with his own brake fast not realizing what happens when a four year old is loaded with chocolate, sugary goodness. not five minutes after they were done Shadow was running through out the house with Sonic right on his tail.~
Sonic- Oh my gosh..It's Eggman all over again! Shadow it's time to stop!
~Shadow just laughed jumping up and kicking off a wall before taking off again, Sonic skidded to a stop realizing there was only one way to stop him and that was.........to play a game! ~
Sonic- Hey shadow! Lets play a game or something!
~The young black and red hedgehog was standing before him in the blink of an eye~
Shadow- Yeah,yeah!
Sonic- Heh okay lets see what shall we play Places hand on chin while lightly tapping chin* Hum. How about Monster??
Shadow- Monster?? How do you play? I've only played hide and Seek, Cream and Charmy taught me! It was fun ^^ I won!
Sonic- They did? you did?well great! Good job Lil faker! ^^
~Shadow beamed at sonic's praise jumping up and down slightly~
Sonic- That means you'll be great at monster!
Shadow- It does?!
Sonic- Yep! You see, theres only two rules..
Shadow- What are they??
Sonic- Rule one, You can't leave the house.
Shadow- Stay inside okay.
Sonic- Rule two...run from the monster!
Shadow- okay! I can do that!
Sonic- Oh, almost forgot, theres one more thing you need to know.
Shadow-*tilts head* what's that??
~Sonic kneeled down and leaned over to whisper in Shadow's ear~
Sonic-...I'm the monster.
~Shadow's eyes widen as Sonic getting back on his feet and gives the scariest roar he can causing Shadow to yell and run off yelling sonic once again right on his tail.~
Sonic- ROAR!!! I Ish Hungry for Hedgehog Flesh!
~Shadow shrieked but kept away from sonic as he ran through the house laughing and giggling all the way, He nearly screamed when Sonic suddenly popped out in front of him. Sonic stopped and crossed his arms laughing his head off as he watched Shadow scramble the other way and into another room, he cleared his throat getting ready to finish the game since Shadow had ran into his bedroom and there was no way out~
Sonic- RRROOAARR!!  Fee, Fie, Fo, Fum! I small a...Little angsty pain in the tail! Any my don't he small tasty!..just like a big  Chili dog topped with onions and jalapenos *licks lips* Say Shadow how 'bout we grabbed a snack?...Shadow??
~Sonic looked around the room, there was no sign of the other hedgehog, he wasn't under the covers or the bed, he wasn't in the dresser or the toy box~
Sonic-..Okay Shadow games over where are you? You better not be outside! You know that's rule number-
~Sonic Had not noticed the Closet door slowly open, or the fact that Shadow had been waiting on the top self, he sprang out landing on sonic's back, the shock and force sent sonic to the floor, Acting lighting quick shadow had grabbed a jump rope and had Sonic hogtied in nothing flat~
Sonic- what in the?!
Shadow- got ya monster! I win!! ^^
~Sonic was flabbergasted, the little stinker had won, HE was supposed to not the kid! , suddenly the two heard something and looked over, Knuckles the Echidna was standing in the doorway staring at them~
Knuckles-..What this is I don't even...
Sonic- Eeeheheh Hiya Knuckles! Okay Shadow, Untie me
Shadow-..No
sonic- What was that?
Shadow- no, I'm not going to untie you, if I do that you'll be free to strike again!
Sonic- Shadow come on the games over!
Knuckles- Ppffttt! He's got you good blue.
Sonic- Ha.Ha.Ha Knucklehead, how about a little help?
Knuckle- Come on kid,  lets leave this 'monster' tot think about what he's done.
Shadow- Okay! *Gets off Sonic's back* Now you're in a timeout monster! be good!
~Sonic watched with his mouth wide open as Knuckles walked out of the room with Shadow in tow~
Sonic-..I'm SO GOING TO GET YOU GUYS!!
